Library discussion:
- Added separation between Edgemont library and Peruvian
- Proposal to have kids go to the library every other week
- 72-hour quarantine on books before being reshelved
- Sanitizing protocols in between classes
- Four kids up at a time to find a book
Council unanimously votes to open the library based on items discussed
Budget:
- Waiting on new budget numbers from the District.
- Have a need for substitutes and assistants could affect budget numbers
- Grant and part of land trust budget covered Dreambox license cost
- Re-evaluate budget next month
Technology
- Older chromebooks may need to be replaced soon
- Working with the district on replacement based on 1:1, but we need cushion paid for by school (3-5/class) honored in the district replacement plan.
School Health & Safety
- Discussion on the test to stay policy and updated policies.
- If one school in the building has higher COVID numbers, do both go out?
- Contact tracing is more efficient now
SCC Training
- Everyone must attend in-person training
- Email Alicia once you’ve completed training
