Motion approved for last month meetings minutes
Safety : Emily Russo
Having monthly drills required by the state as well as additional training to make sure they know what to do when they are on the playground and where they need to go. Trying to find our weak spots to get prepared and make any adjustments
Visitor (will be escorted to another staff member, not background checked) vs. Volunteer (background checked)
Whole school events, having people stay in the areas that are designated
No adults in the children’s bathroom, signs are posted.
Our next drill will not be announced in advanced- to have more authentic procedures
Portable bathrooms for students just in case they are stuck in the room, portable toilets with privacy screens and stray.
Our school has two guardians- we are following the law- they are trained, we can not know who they are. As a school we don’t have a choice, we must have them.
No school maps allowed to be handed out at school events
