  2. TSSP Plan (Major budget items listed) Expected approximately 2% over this year’s budget (72,000)

Priority 1 is behavior assistant funding

ELL Learners — Achievement coach has created training for nex

Math:  Benchmark goal will stay at 80 percent on Land Trust and TSSP.

Math resources to increase number sense — Mental Math

SALTA teachers need a little bit more reading supplement.

MTSS Personnel (not classroom reduction aides) and materials for social emotional supports/building sensory room

1st Grade getting chromebooks, district will only provide ipads to 1st grade. This is a school technology initiative.

Technology is now being mostly handled by the district trying to get 1:1 ratio.  2nd-5th Chromebooks, K&1st ipads only.

67 chromebooks are aging out, district will replace  them.

Reading: Growth Goal

Pathways data shows most classes have met or on track to meet goal.  Some inconsistencies in Pathways and benchmark data should be investigated.

In addition to substitute funding for teachers, add time and funding for BLT.

Reading Plus and other Subscription services will be maintained

MTSS — Increases to support social emotional component.

New Budget item: Science (Growth Goal 3%/year)

Neighborhood only 60% of neighborhood kids are proficient in Science, we’ve never budgeted for this before.

  1. Land Trust ($69,819)

Reading goal from 80% to 70% on Reading Inventory. Starting neighborhood data is 35- 55%.  70% is a more realistic multi-year goal.

3 Reading Assistants

Technology (reduced due to district Technology initiative)

Math goal changed to 80% to match TSSP goal.

2 Math Assistants

Material and subscriptions (includes SPED)

Technology (Headphones, Chromebooks etc.)

Extra money will be spent on any already budgeted items.

Council approves Leslie to make adjustments to TSSP as discussed.

  1. Budget review

Current projection supports interventionists working three weeks into May.

Surplus funds used to purchase Chromebooks for 1st grade.

On target to stay under the 8% carryover allowance.

  1. Crescent updates

Transportation information is complete. PTA volunteers will be assisting at the bus stops for the first week to ensure student safety on pickup/arrival.

Emails from both principals will need to be on time. Parents will get caught in the other school drop off and pickup.  Edgemont pickup right after Peruvian and Edgemont breakfast starts during our drop off time.

PTA will move all things and help on the 3/19.
