  • TSSP and Land Trust
    1. TSSP
      1. Will circulate draft plan before March meeting. Be prepared to make final revisions at that time
      2. Planning time may be impacted by a mid-year move and extra responsibilities of teachers.  To ensure maintenance of adequate planning to deliver quality instruction extra time needs to be provided for teachers.  Increase substitute/stipend time for teachers to maintain planning while packing.
      3. Panther pride – PBIS Rewards program can increase and improve expectations/reinforcement with students and build community. Use app and scannable badge to reward students for behavior. Include funding for start-up and maintenance of program. Funding can be coordinated with support from PTA and school funding.
      4. Maintain improvement of SEL resources and supplies including classroom and school calm areas.
    2. Land trust
      1. Keep the general plan with increased funding going to teacher planning as TSSP.
  • Safety Drills
    1. Re-did fire drill and it went well
    2. Shelter in place later this month
  • Health & Safety Updates
    1. Moving forward as the entire district is now in Tier 2. Many grades already have confirmed field trips in the spring. Last two grades have turned in requests.
  • New Building Updates
    1. Volunteers may be needed to help teachers with packing and moving. Notices will be sent to parents closer to moving time.
    2. The furniture plan is finished and will be presented to the Board. Teachers visited Midvalley (same floor plan) and were excited to see what their new rooms/school will look like.
